About
Two worlds. One life.
Artist, advisor, entrepreneur — and the conviction that you don't have to pick just one.
Professional Background
Born and raised on Long Island's north shore, Dan spent years leading schools before the studio and the planning table — first as assistant principal, then principal of an intermediate school serving more than 1,000 students and 125 staff. He steered the building through the pandemic, managed budgets and capital projects, hired and developed teachers, and has taught educational leadership to graduate students at Molloy College since 2020. He then led development for The Einstein Program, a nonprofit, before turning to financial planning full-time.
Music Career
A Long Island singer-songwriter in a Nashville state of mind. Dan has recorded with producer Jimmy Ritchey (Jake Owen, Sam Hunt, Joe Nichols) alongside A-list players like Danny Rader (Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney) and Shannon Forrest (Toto), and co-written with hitmakers Andy Albert (Dan + Shay, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton) and David DeVaul (Wyatt Flores) — including "The Bright Side" and "You Can't Put Me Out." His songs have been placed on TV, his country releases have passed a million streams, and he's opened for Rodney Atkins, Dylan Scott, Maddie & Tae and Chase Matthew — after rock days sharing stages with Berlin, The Tubes and the New York Dolls. Most recently: a country take on Wheatus' "Teenage Dirtbag," a nod to a fellow Long Island band.
Financial Planning Career
Dan now delivers integrated financial planning for individuals, families and business owners — risk management, investment strategy, retirement planning and tax-aware strategy. Years of running school budgets and long-range plans taught him that good planning is less about numbers than about priorities: knowing what matters, then building around it.
Education
Business Management at Franklin & Marshall College; a B.A. in Spanish and an M.S. in Secondary Education from Molloy College, where he also served as a graduate assistant; and the Educational Leadership program at Stony Brook University. He holds New York State SDL and SBL leadership certifications and is a certified Spanish teacher — still a teacher at heart, which is why everything here starts with education.
Entrepreneurship
From independent releases to Right Me Up Studios, Dan has built creative work the way any business owner does — budgeting it, marketing it and betting on it. That's the perspective he brings to artists and creatives: the career is the business.
Personal Philosophy
You shouldn't have to choose between the life you love and the life you can afford.
